Multifunctional Measuring Machine

MEDICON has created a machine for assembling of HRG sensitive element. The machine has no counterparts. The solved issue regarding assembling of HRG sensitive elements has made it possible to develop the HRG for application in the following areas:

  • systems defining well trajectory (as part of inclinometer)
  • gyro-compassing used for the building of complex configuration tunnels
  • orientation of vehicle antennas to provide stable mobile communication

The machine can be used in the manufacture of precision 3-D parts made of quartz, ceramics or metal.

Measurement and determination of △F and △Q resonator axis

As a result of implementation of the international contract on creation of Multifunctional Measuring Machine we have received a unique technological machine which can be used for manufacture of sensitive elements of HGR. During gap aligning the capacity measuring method between the electrodes and the resonator has been implemented in the machine. A computerized manipulator allows displacing an HRG resonator in regard of the electrodes in three dimensions with the precision equal to 1 micron. The machine consists of the following main components:

  1. Vacuum chamber meant for direct operations with HRG parts. Inside the chamber there is a computerized manipulator with resonator and electrode attachment fittings. Resonator displacement and rotation control and monitoring are provided with the help of special control units (controllers) as well a PC.
  2. Vacuum-gas system meant for degassing from the vacuum chamber till the vacuum reaches 10-5 Pa. The system includes electronic unit for automatic system state monitoring preventing incorrect actions of an operator or unexpected mode changes, which could be the cause of machine failure.
